Where Musical Flavor Hits The Pavement
Teaming up with longtime friends at Gasparilla Music Foundation, live performances will pop up across the district, setting the tone from first bite to final toast. An eclectic mix of tunes will keep the streets buzzing and the heat turned all the way up.
Cuban Son
The Rhythm of the Islands
Cuban Son is a cultural bridge, dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the vibrant musical heritage of the Caribbean. While their foundation is built upon the timeless Son Cubano—the soulful, syncopated heartbeat of Havana—their journey explores the full landscape of Latin rhythm. From the rapid-fire joy of Merengue and the storytelling of Bachata to the complex, driving energy of Salsa, they bring the true spirit of the islands to the stage.
Their music is a tribute to the ancestors and the masters of the genre, blending Spanish melodic traditions with the deep, spiritual pulse of African percussion.
More than a performance, a night with Cuban Son is an invitation to experience la alegría de vivir (the joy of living). They believe that music is a universal language that unites communities, celebrates history, and keeps the flame of our heritage burning bright.

Trio Mixtura
Dynamic, genre-blending sounds
Trio Mixtura is a dynamic ensemble featuring three of Tampa Bay’s most accomplished musicians: Alejandro Arenas (bass), Patrick Bettison (keyboard/harmonica), and Mark Griffith (drums). The trio offers fresh takes on familiar songs alongside original compositions, moving effortlessly between Funk, Jazz, Brazilian, and Latin styles. With strong musicianship and a knack for improvisation, Trio Mixtura creates engaging, genre-blending performances
