Sounds of the Street transforms Water Street Tampa into a lively, open-air soundtrack every second Thursday of the month.

Whether you're strolling, dining, or simply exploring, you'll wander into pockets of live music as bands and local artists add a little rhythm to Raybon Plaza, Via Corazon, and Water Street.

Think of it as a pop-up music festival woven right into your evening plans, with new genres, new faces, and something for every kind of music lover.

HoneyWhat

HoneyWhat is an alternative rock band that pulls inspiration from the funk, pop, and soul genres. They are based out of St. Petersburg, Fl. Formed in 2017, the group features Danielle Mohr (vocals/guitar), Sam Adwell (guitar), Timothy Nichols (bass) and Andi Tafelski (drums/vocals).

Going to a HoneyWhat show will leave you with your ears buzzing and a smile on your face. Thoughtful lyrics and catchy melodies will get you dancing and singing along in no time! The quartet have locked into a sound that will leave you introspective and gleeful.

Speak Easy

Since meeting one another at USFSP in 2017, Speak Easy has become an integral part of the local music scene in the Bay Area. The Group has performed all over Florida- notably at Gasparilla Music Festival, Clearwater Jazz festival, Jacksonville’s Finn Fest, the St. Pete Pier’s 4th of July Festival, the Rock and Blues Festival in Ecuador and Mexico, and have opened for the Plain White Tees at Chapel Chop Fest in Wesley Chapel.

Speak Easy has released several collections of original music including their debut album “To Make a Man” (2024). The band’s performance of their original song “Ain’t No Need to Wonder” was also chosen as the music and running visual for NPR Tiny Desk’s 2022 contest compilation from hundreds of entries. The group has also been featured in the Tampa Bay Times and Creative Loafing for their original content and performances.

With effusive lyrics, danceable energy, tasteful electric guitar solos, tight harmonies, and groove-driven rhythm, this 4-piece band delivers an undeniably positive vibe to any room. Fueled by sincere passion for making people move and strong desire to entertain, it is hard to find something not to like about these guys who speak nice and easy in person, too. This group delivers the right mix of classic style, well-developed musicianship, and a sunny disposition that is winning over fun-loving fans of all ages.

Hailing originally from Oklahoma City, DJ SenorOteb is an incredibly versatile DJ in the Tampa music scene. He has 25 years of experience as a DJ performing in numerous clubs, bars, weddings, festivals, department stores, and gyms around the country. His client list includes

Water Street Tampa, Macy’s, USF Moffitt Cancer Center, Double Branch Artisanal Ales, and Lowry Parcade. Entertaining & playing music for people is DJ SenorOteb’s true passion. Whether it’s a bar or a wedding, DJ SenorOteb ensures that every performance is a musical journey and provides the best experience on the dance floor. Through his DJ’ing, SenorOteb focuses not only on entertainment, but also to educate people and take them back to a special time or memory through music.
