Check out our lineup of bands and artists tor this month's Sounds of the Street who are filling our neighborhood with a mix of sounds and styles for any fan of live music.

EarthTonez Music Collective

EarthTonez Music Collective is a vibrant and dynamic band that blends the colors of soul, jazz, alternative, and hip hop to create a kaleidoscope of musical experiences. Since their formation in 2018, the band has been on a mission to fuse the theme of color and music. Exemplified with their first single, “Honey Yellow” released in 2021. The collective began as a cover band developing a new sound and putting a twist on common Top 40 songs.

Led by vocalist and guitar player, Jacen P. Louis, EarthTonez Music Collective has played for audiences ranging from your local bars to popular festivals. The fusion band continues to grow in their hometown of Orlando, FL aiding in quality music in the City Beautiful. If you are looking for a fresh new resonance, join the vibrations with EarthTonez Music Collective.

Jordan Esker and the 100%

Starting as the multi-tracking recording project in Tallahassee, FL that created his album “Best Supporting Actor,” Jordan formed The Hundred Percent to bring these recordings to a stage. The group that formed toured the southeast multiple times, played Gasparilla Music Fest 2019, and opened for various touring artists across the Tampa Bay Area. 

They’ve released three albums and three EPs with sounds described with tags like emo soul, singer songwriter, yacht rock, lofi funk, 80s experimental, and dark pop.

Their recent singles have featured collaborations with other Tampa based artists like Jaron Jammer (Sorry Barb).

Matt & Rick of Whale Feral

Whale Feral is a Florida-born rock band blending improvisation with gritty, high-energy live performances.

Since forming in 2017, they’ve built a strong reputation, sharing stages with The Marcus King Band and The Heavy Pets, earning a Relix Magazine feature and releasing live recordings. Their 2021 album All’s Whale That Ends Whale led into their debut LP Words We Can’t Read, showcasing both studio precision and live intensity.

Mixing rock, funk, psych, and soul, they continue to evolve. Their latest EP WAYL FAIR-uhl is out now.

DJ SenorOteb

Originally from Oklahoma City, DJ SenorOteb is a versatile mainstay of the Tampa music scene with over 25 years of experience. He has performed everywhere from clubs and festivals to weddings and curated brand events, working with clients such as Water Street Tampa, Macy’s, USF Moffitt Cancer Center, and Double Branch Artisanal Ales.

Known for creating memorable, high-energy sets, DJ SenorOteb blends entertainment with intention, crafting musical journeys that connect people to the dance floor, and to the moments and memories that music brings to life.
