Sounds of the Street transforms Water Street Tampa into a lively, open-air soundtrack every second Thursday of the month.

Whether you're strolling, dining, or simply exploring, you'll wander into pockets of live music as bands and local artists add a little rhythm to Raybon Plaza, Via Corazon, and Water Street.

Think of it as a pop-up music festival woven right into your evening plans, with new genres, new faces, and something for every kind of music lover.

DJ SenorOteb

Originally from Oklahoma City, DJ SenorOteb is a versatile mainstay of the Tampa music scene with over 25 years of experience. He has performed everywhere from clubs and festivals to weddings and curated brand events, working with clients such as Water Street Tampa, Macy’s, USF Moffitt Cancer Center, and Double Branch Artisanal Ales.

Known for creating memorable, high-energy sets, DJ SenorOteb blends entertainment with intention, crafting musical journeys that connect people to the dance floor, and to the moments and memories that music brings to life.

Kristopher James

Kristopher James is a compelling singer-songwriter whose soulful sound has drawn comparisons to artists like Gavin DeGraw and Amos Lee. Praised by Creative Loafing as “perhaps the most interesting musician on the scene,” Kristopher captivates audiences across the Southeast with songs and stories delivered in both intimate clubs and larger theater settings.

He has toured and shared stages with artists including First Aid Kit, Marc Broussard, The Temptations, Mavis Staples, and The Revivalists, and was personally invited by Beach Boys co-founder Mike Love to perform on The Beach Boys Cruise. With a growing catalog of critically praised releases, Kristopher continues to expand his sound as he works toward a highly anticipated sophomore album.

Acoustic Alchemy

Rob Pieniak is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with over 25 years of professional experience, blending guitar, flute, bass, percussion, and vocals into an organic, rhythm-driven sound influenced by world, reggae, and acoustic styles. A veteran of international festivals and U.S. tours, his music reflects a lifetime of global experience and soulful expression.

Chris Barbosa brings more than 20 years of professional performance to the stage, captivating audiences with dynamic, heartfelt artistry. From Carnegie Hall to Ruth Eckerd Hall—and appearances on national TV and radio—his performances elevate any setting into a memorable musical experience.
